Yes, I have seen that thread, but sometimes it's necessary to paste some
stuff into the page.
That's why I preffer to use script text than rich text format ;-) It's
needed to learn some basic commands, but none too much difficult.
It's great when you have the choice. We need to get the Rich text editor
to allow our membership easier participation and contribution to the
wiki site. We need to keep the learning curve low enough to allow anyone
who wishes to contribute to just jump in and contribute without having
to learn a set of command codes for the text editor when there is a Rich
text editor that can do the job for them.
I have to say, it looks a little strange when a project that constructs
and prides itself of a software package built along the principles of a
graphic environment, yet, to work on one part of its membership site,
the membership does not have access to a solid graphic environment to
contribute to its wiki site.
We should try to fix problems with the Rich Text editor and, if it can't
be fixed internally, consult with people from the WikiMedia project see
if this can be corrected. There must be a fix for this.
Cheers
Marc
