Does anyone know why the Chinese list has the address @bn.libreoffice.org? BN is the code for
Brunei.

No, bn is the *language* code for Bengali (India/Bangladesh), not a
country code.

Additionally, and just to add to the confusion, the list is indexed as ZH-HAN in the list of
local lists.

Do you have a URL at hand? If it is listed as chinese, then it is a
mistake, as it is not chinese. - ant it should be hans and hant - not
just "han"

You're right, it is hans. Or rather, zh-hans, and I have always associated zh with different forms
of Chinese. The information is in Chinese.

Han may be the principal race of the Chinese people,

This has nothing to do with race, it is the preferred ISO code to use.

Again, please point out the URLs that list the invorrect info, so it
can be fixed.

And under that all the instructions are in Chinese:

users@bn.libreoffice.org:LibreOffice 用户支持
        • 订阅:users+subscribe@bn.libreoffice.org
        • 汇总版订阅:users+subscribe-digest@bn.libreoffice.org
        • 存档:http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/bn/users/
        • Mail-Archive.com: http://www.mail-archive.com/users@bn.libreoffice.org/

Notice that the addresses begin with bn. Don't know what's on the other end if you subscribe
there, as I haven't gone that far yet.

BTW, now I look closer, I find that, in the long list on the left, Chinese Simplified and Chinese
Traditional are listed, and go somewhere else. I didn't get that far, as I saw the alphabetical
list at the top with zh-tw and zh-hans. Since zh-tw is usually used for Traditional Chinese, as
they write it in Taiwan (tw), I chose the other, and got to the page I cited above. And, apart
from zh-hans and the address beginning with br instead of zh-cn, everything looked normal, all in
good Simplified Chinese.
