I have wanted to stop that, in fact. For regular visitors, the
"recent changes" should be a good start point.
There is actually NO need for those emails. I have not found a way to
stop that.

Oh yes, I'd prefer to stop that too. I only have permissions to edit
our NL website, but still I'm getting emails about changes to both the
main website, which I can only view, and the NL website. It would be
great if I could disable those emails in my account preferences.
