Hi Daniel, :-)
Your plan looks *really great*. Go for it! ;-)
Just to give you some advice about screenshots, based on what I've done:
The project prefers screenshots done under Linux, or maybe Mac, but
prefers not to use screenshots done under Windows (due to possible
copyright issues).
I've done screenshots done at 400 x 300, which link to an enlargement
at 800 x 600. That's not a rule, if you have other ideas, but you
might take account of the conistency aspect. That being said, just
follow your imagination.
Feel free to post if you need help, advice or anything. Note that I
upgraded your permissions to Publisher, so when you're sure your
content is ready, you can publish directly to the Web.
Good luck, and a big thanks for helping out. :-)

Ok here's a quick preliminary page structure I set up by browsing other
feature listings, help content, and such. Please let me know if you think of
anything to add, remove, or reorder. I also hope to include attractive
screenshots, likely under each section, to demonstrate the features in
action.

Awesome, thanks for the links :). And yep I'll get working on the Writer
features page soon. So far I've been making little edits here and there to
get used to SilverStripe. Currently putting LGPL and OSI logos on the About
Us page. But right - Writer features page is next up for me.
