2. How to translate www.libreoffice.org pages. I see that some of them
are translated e.g. in German.

This works via 'Translations' tab from the Main site by generating a
virtual page in your language. I've done this for the download page now
and gave you publisher access to the main site for editing content.

You choose Main on top and English (US) in the left panel, then click
the Download page, choose tab Translations and click the Hungarian
translation which is still untranslated to edit it.
On your subsite I created a virtual page and selected the source.

Of course you may delete all this (delete from preview) in case it is
useless for you.

3. How to copy pages (e.g. what to do if I want to have a localized
dowload page like http://www.libreoffice.org/download under
hu.libreoffice.org.

Well the way this is to be done is described above.

When I create a new virtual page on the HU site, I cannot specify the
subsite. I want to specify subsite Main, but that drop down list is
missing from the page.

I can duplicate the Download page that you created and link another page
from Main site from there, so workaround exists.

Cheers,
Andras
