Request #1 of #2

In one of the other threads, Klaus requested that we should have a
screenshot and download button at the very top of the content.
For the screenshot shuffler, I suggest we use the same script as used
at http://www.documentfoundation.org/download/
(http://www.documentfoundation.org/scripts/photoshuffler.js).

This is already possible - although maybe not in the most intuitive way :-)

Turn the page into a JSPage, then you can specify a javascript
uploaded to assets (Files and Images Section) that is then included.
You need to write the images you want the photoshuffler to display
see the example on pumbaa as reference:
http://pumbaa.ooodev.org:7780/libreoffice/ includes
http://pumbaa.ooodev.org:7780/assets/JavaScript/photoshuffler.js
Besides adding the script, you need to provide hints in the document
as to where the script should do its work, thus creat a div with
id="screenshot-slide" and within that div an img-tag with
id="screenshot-slide-image" (or modify the photoshuffler.js to use
other tags)

I guess I should make that more user-friendly by adding a tab "images
to shuffle" or similar to the CMS where you would pick the images
instead of having to modify the javascript directly, but that just was
the way I did back then when I just wanted to copy the
documentfoundation site as a demo back then...

Please, could you make the script work on the test.libreoffice.org home page?
I already uploaded the 8 screenshots into
http://test.libreoffice.org/admin/assets/HomePageRollingScreenshots
(you will see them in the "Files & Images" tab).

If the above way is acceptable, I can do it - sure.

Request #2 of #2

Christian, if you have time, would it be possible to implement the 3rd
widget ("TDF Planet News") discussed above? This one would be
*underneath* the TDF blog feed and Twitter feed, stretching across the
entire content width...

I did so on pumbaa, but I must say I think it is too "heavy", but I
can add the functionality, even if you can use it, you don't have to
after all :-)

ciao
Christian
