That I'm going to add to the test.libreoffice.org later today as well.

The change is done. In case you see a broken logo at the top, do a
force-refresh/clear your browser's cache. You should see the full logo
(document-icon + LibreOffice label) instead of only the document icon)

The above is the side menu design [1] that, IMVHO, is the best. Do you
think it might be possible to get that implemented by Monday, by any
chance? It would be *so* nice if we can get the site to publishable
state by Thursday... ;-)

I just pushed it to test.libreoffice.org in order to tune the details
/ get broader feedback.

It's not 100% the same, as no background is added for the not-selected case.
