The only thing I would be concerned about is the integration with the
Drupal
website when it is implemented.
Drupal has forums included, however personally I prefer to use phpBB
or
similar and integrate the user/login/profile/messaging system with
the
Drupal core system at libreoffce.org
single sign-on would be great, however, anyone knows how to approach
this? I guess some kind of LDAP magic is involved?
phpBB does support LDAP, but in previous versions there where IIRC some
issues with switching from local user accounts in the phpBB tables to
LDAP and then wanting to add support for OpenID and OAuth later.
I have not checked that specific requirement (LDAP + OpenId/OAuth)
recently, I will go look at the latest release notes this weekend and
get back to the list.
Best wishes,
Drew
