But yes, SSO will be needed for the foundation websites.

I agree. The need is not immediate right now but will become soon. I

Hi,
I did some research into OpenID a couple years back, might help if I go
back over my notes and do a little fresh research, regarding different
implementation schemes, pros and cons.
I'll put this together on the wiki for later review by everyone.
