iWork :-
Recent Effects: ...
Appear & Move: Clothesline, Confetti, Dissolve, Drop, Droplet, Fade Through
Color, Grid, Iris, Move In, Push, Reveal, Switch, Wipe
Flip, Spin & Scale: Blinds, Color Planes, Cube, Doorway, Fall, Flip, Flop,

Object Effects: Object Cube, Object Flip, Object Pop, Object Push, Object

Only iWork sorts the group entries alphabetically and that is quite expected
from a drop down list. With MSO and WPS, they display all the transition at
once in columns and rows with a image representation of the transition, which
is likely sort based on popularity.
