Often latency is a killer with a remote protocol. Enumerating a
potentially substantial directory hierarchy via webdav is going to take
minutes-to-hours I suspect and that is basically an un-fixable protocol
reality I suspect ;-)
Is there a technical reason, like that LibO only sees the first
hierarchy level when it initially connects to a remote repository?
