Will LIbreOffice eventually be available on Ubuntu without having to do all
the technical stuff?

It was announced somewhere that LO will be on Ubuntu's repository, so
it will be easy to install it. I think they are waiting for it to be out of the RC mode. Then it will be in the next version of Ubuntu if it gets the release
version in time. They are working on 11.10 now.
