Description:
When trying to check in LibreOffice via Help → Check for updates
Finding updates has been coming up for several days:
*“Error reading the data from the Internet. Server Error Message: GET ⇒
HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden.” *
The problem occurs in: – Windows 10/11 – LibreOffice (most recent
Version, freshly installed) – no VPN or proxy usage – none
local firewall or router blockages
For troubleshooting, I completely uninstalled LibreOffice and the
Latest version manually installed. The error remains unchanged.
In addition, the direct call of the update URL in the browser provides: 
https://update.libreoffice.org/check.php the following message:
*“LibreOffice Update Service – Error: Only LibreOffice may access the
Update service.” *
Since the update check also within LibreOffice itself with a
Cancels 403 Errors, the update server seems to be up to date legitimate requests
also reject.
Several users report identical symptoms, so it is probably a
server-side problem before.
Expected behavior: The update check should be without a 403 error
work and show available updates.
Actual behavior: Update check immediately cancels with HTTP 403.

Wow, we have a "check for updates" feature. I did not know of this. I tried on my debian system and 
it worked - up to date

I get the same message as you if I try and paste the URL into a browser.
