Dear MRZ,

When you install LO, you have to modify each part of the LO package you
use daily. I.e. LO Writer and Calc. The procedure is the same in both
cases: you open Writer or Calc and then go to "TOOLS". Open the the list
and go down to "Personalize" (the before-last mention in the column).
Click on it. When opened you go step by step: F12 modify unto Save As,
CTRL+1 unto Interline 1, CTRL+2 unto Interline 2, CTRL+5 unto Interline
1.5, CTRL+P unto Print, CTRL+S unto Save, CTRL+W unto Close...

When done click on OK and repeat the same thing with Calc. Having these
tools nor in Windows nor under LINUX (UBUNTU) LO will never fail you.

This makes no sense to me.

Under Tools, I see no "Personalize" label. There is a "Customize"
label right above the last entry, but I don't see how to use it for
this purpose.

I have set the 'save to' directory many times, always to the same
directory. THIS CHANGES AT RUN TIME, I don't see how to reset it to my
preference.

Still mystified.

MRZ
