Bug 127808, "Add dynamic arrays in CALC" is labelled an enhancement, but
appears necessary to resolve various bugs (there are eight associated bug
reports). Many of these bugs appear to arise from new functions introduced
in 24.8 (eg SORT and UNIQUE) and there are more functions that appear to
depend on dynamic arrays in 25.8 (eg CHOOSECOLS, DROP, TOCOL).
There is sparse information in the bug 127808 report.
Sometimes, these functions, introduced in 24.8 and 25.8), work and
sometimes they appear to work (no error) but give an incorrect result.
Question 1: May we please have some guidance on the circumstances in which
these new CALC functions work properly?
Question 2: Is there a work around for the bugs assocated with 127808?
Question 3: Is there any progress on bug 127808, please?
