Jim -

Those messages are what I expect if I use http: instead of https:. If you only typed in 'libreoffice.org' then your browser may be using http:. Have you tried typing in exactly https://www.libreoffice.org/ <https://www.libreoffice.org/>'?

If you clicked on the https://mirror1.cs-georgetown.net/tdf/libreoffice/stable/25.2.3/win/x86_64/LibreOffice_25.2.3_Win_x86-64.msi link then I don't know why it didn't work for you. It worked for me just now. But I've never needed to use one of those mirrors. The main LO download link has always worked for me.

Which operating system and which Web browser are you using? And what country are you in?

Italo and Jim -

It may be worth mentioning that one should start at https://www.libreoffice.org/ <https://www.libreoffice.org/> and click on *DOWNLOAD* and then *Download LibreOffice* in order to find the yellow *DOWNLOAD* button.

At least some Web browsers (e.g., Firefox) will show a small progress indicator that tells how the download is going and whether it is complete.

When you click the yellow DOWNLOAD button, the download will start
in the background without any visible activity on your screen. We
recommend that you open the DOWNLOAD page in your browser to check
the status. Please do not close the browser until you are sure the
    download is complete.

If the download does not start, please try a different server. To
change the server, you should click on the INFO link just below
the yellow DOWNLOAD button and select one from the list that
appears on the page that opens when you click on the INFO link.

You should also check that the download link starts with HTTPS,
otherwise the browser will not download the file. If this is not
the case, please change the server using the instructions in the
    previous paragraph.

Please note that you can retry the download as many times as you
like, as long as you do not close the browser window before the
download is complete. You can ignore the donation request, as
donations are optional and help us keep the project alive.

If all goes well, when the download is complete, a window will
open asking you to choose whether to run the installer or save the
file to your hard drive. Please choose the second option and save
the file to your DOWNLOADS folder.

Then open the DOWNLOADS folder and double-click on the file (the
name starts with LibreOffice and ends with .MSI on Windows and
.DMG on MacOS). Follow the on-screen instructions carefully until
the end of the installation process.

If everything goes well, LibreOffice will be installed correctly
and will appear in your menu (for Windows) or in your Applications
    folder (for MacOS).

Sorry for the long message. I hope this helps. Best regards.
