Noah -
I don't understand what's happening.
When you say 'not able to send documents', do you mean that you can't
send them because you can't find them, or that when you send them to
someone then that person doesn't see the math correctly?
I don't understand what you mean by storing a document 'within *Recent
Documents*'. Do you mean that you save a document, exit from Writer,
enter Writer again, and open the document from File > Recent Documents?
Can you not reopen the document using File > Open?
What do you mean by 'they get lost'? Do you mean that you can't find the
document, or do you mean that the math content within the document does
not appear correctly?
As Robert Großkopf asked, if you create a PDF file using File > Export
As > Export as PDF, does the math appear correctly?

I am not able to send documents of math symbol compositions at all. It
seems I can store such documents within *Recent Documents*, otherwise they
get lost. If you have a solution, or an address to write to for
information, that would be superb.
Thank you for reading this.
