I've been using libreoffice for years to make spreadsheets and am pretty
happy with it. I'm a retired computer programmer.
I just tried today to write a letter using libreoffice, but found
myself completely confused.
I tried to start by defining a style for the address block at the top
right, but then the following Dear Sirs in the normal Text Body style
also moved over to the right.
So I gave up and found the Letter Wizard, but there doesn't seem to be
any way to start with a blank piece of paper. It insists on some
garbage image at the top. And then just totally confuses me with
subsequent options.
So how does one use libreoffice to write a simple letter? Is there a
guide for idiots somewhere?
TIA, Dave
