Hello,

Just wanted to make you aware that there is a recurring issue with the Libre Office version of
Slides/Power Point. I have been using it for the past year to create teaching resources for my
students and when I get to more than about 30 slides, the program continually locks up. This
happens on every computer I have downloaded it onto so it is a software issue. What can I do to
avoid this issue? It is incredibly frustrating to have a program lock up on you every 90 seconds.

Thank you,
Kelly

Hmm... that's weird. I do the same and my sets sometimes exceed multiple hundreds of slides [1], without showing any sign of locking/crashing. So, the number of slides itself is probably not the issue here [2].

Sorry I can't be of more help to you.

[1] Didactically not always the best of choices or fitting Bloom's taxonomy, but sometimes it is preferred to do it like this in my case anyway.

[2] I am working on Debian (a version of Linux). Maybe on other platforms the experience is not the same. I have only limited experience with LO on Windows or iOS, so I cannot say anything about these.
