Back in 2014, Mozilla Corporation decided to stop working on Thunderbird and hand it off to the 
community. However, even though they are not updating this client anymore, Mozilla Foundation 
still supports it.


Sorry paolo, but your infos are incomplete.

Thunderbird is part of MZLA Technologies Corporation since january 28, 
2020, and it is today updated.

Recently they released "Supernova" version (115.x).
