Hello,

The only thing I can think of is that this character is the "line break"
(created with Shift+Enter) as displayed by the font you are using. For
instance, in my version, the paragraph mark shows as a solid arrow right
when the text is in Wingding font. The easy test would be to try to insert a
line break immediately after and to see what gets displayed.
