Hi,
Can someone let me know where I can find this in the documents or give
me some help so I fix this?
My unedcuated guess is that it has been hardcoded by some "well
intentioned" UI-developer who failed to appreciate the requirements of
OSX yet again (and in particular, the different keyboards that Apple
produces and sells with its computers).
Difficult to lay the blame in such a case as most of the testers and
developers use Linux, and I imagine very few have an Apple Mac with a
full Apple keyboard à la Magic Keyboard with numerical keys. My own Mac
environment uses the small Magic Keyboard with my Macmini or else the
integrated keyboard on my MBPro and both are AZERTY.
Thank you for the clarifications Alex.
I've posted a bug report but I get the distinct feeling it isn't being seen as an issue. :-(
I understand that it is probably hard coded somewhere but is there any way to fix this using the
Customize:Keyboard and override the incorrect View:Show Formula (~+CMD) with "switch between open
documents" (or whatever the hell its called)?
The non-standard keyboard shortcut in one of the applications is driving
me crazy.
Snap. Fiddling with the UI to "make it better" (for whom, certainly not
those on macOS) is one of my major bugbears. I've given up.

This is frustrating enough to have me hound someone. I've been trying to get to a point of
removing the M$ applications but these stupid little non-standard UI things really frustrate me and
keep the M$ stuff installed so I can work properly.
I never thought I'd say this but the Mac version of Office 2010 was very good and worked like Mac
programs should (although a bit stripped of functionality compared to the Win version). LO has
been much better at keeping all functionality similar across platforms but these UI problems really
slow down the workflow. I only wish LO would get the UI shit in order!
