After my Ubuntu 16.04LTS upgraded to the newest Linux Kernel of
4.4.0-62, LO 5.2.3.3 kept freezing.
One of the symptoms was the only thing it did was "highlighting" the
text for copying the text.
Any ideas what might be an issue?
What I did was use this command [found online] to see what kernels I had.
dpkg -l linux-* | awk '/^ii/{ print $2 }' | grep -e [0-9] I found out
that I had over 30 kernels in the boot listing. I took a different
command and removed all of the ones that started with a "3". Later I
will remove all 4.2.x kernels but leave the 4.4.x ones. I have not tried
the heavy editing I was doing with LO, but I got to the point where I
froze before, and it did not.
