Ouch, that sounds scary. To be honest I think more linux based forums
would provide a better chance of an answer eg:
fedoraforum.org
linuxquestions.org
How did you install LO? Have you tried uninstall/reinstall? Just in case
there was a problem at install time.
I had a quick flick around the net and, when I can find an
explanation/answer it was way out of my league.

I have several other workstations with different cpus that do not have
this problem with the same os, kernel, and fedora 24 libreoffice. I
haven;t discovered any other applications with this issue on any system.
Any hints or solutions would be great.
