Hi :)
I am sorry i don't know a good answer from this end of things. Is there a
Photoshop forum that deals with Photoshop problems?

All i can do is point to LibreOffice documentation;
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/Publications
http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/documentation/

Both links have the same documentation but the wiki one includes links to
older versions as well as the pre-release single chapters which eventually
add up to the full books. So it's harder to figure out what is going on
with the wiki-page there but easier to focus on individual chapters.

I hope someone else has a better idea than me!
Good luck, apols and regards from
Tom :)

Hi Tom
yes, PS can handle formats like that, but I want to actually add the
shapes into the custom shape tool, which requires the .csh format.
Full-blown photoshop can handle creation of new shapes, but I use an early
version of Elements which doesn't have that functionality; hence my need to
find some alternative if at all possible.

I checked inkscape, but that doesn't give the .csh format either.

Hi :)
Inkscape has a lot of formats by default but i don't remember noticing
.csh. Perhaps an add-on / Extension / plug-in?

Interesting to hear Photoshop is so limited. Can it not handle standard
formats such as .Svg or .Eps?

It's not hugely surprising to hear it can't cope with Open Formats such
.Odg. This is a typical problem of proprietary programs. By limiting
their ability to use non-proprietary formats it can force people into
"vendor lock-ins". The problem is created by the proprietary tools but
somehow it's the OpenSource ones that get the blame and 'have to' solve it.

Open Source tools open things up to freely available formats that anyone
can use in any suitable program and in the future it will be relatively
simple to create tools that can read files saved in such open formats.
Proprietary formats keep changing and so it becomes increasingly difficult
to read older files.
Regards from
Tom :)

Hi,Does anyone know of a free app that can convert vector graphics from
Draw into Photoshop Custom Shape format (.csh)? Draw doesn't export .csh
directly; I did a quick web search but couldn't find anything useful.
