Re: [libreoffice-users] Participate in GSOC 2015

Hi :)
My vote would be for something in either;

1.  Android app or porting it to iPads

2.  Base - but i have a feeling it might be tricky to find something small
enough to work on for it!

3.  Accessibility issues such as screen-readers.  There was a massive code
contribution but i'm guessing a lot of that needs smoothing out or updating
or new features for something.  Sadly the Accessibility mailing list is a
tad quiet and seldom chats about what they would find useful even when
asked directly.

I am sure there are plenty of other more exciting and glamorous things to
work on than 2 or 3 but they would be so good to have more people working
on.  On the other hand there are so few people working on 2 and 3 that it
might be easier to "stand out from the crowd" and get credit.  On the other
hand of the other hand maybe those are the least rewarding areas to work on
because so much needs to be done.  So that is why i put Android/iPad up at
number 1.
