What was the delay?
Download time?
Response time to start the download?

There has been some unexpected "downtime" for the LibreOffice sites, so 
that might have been an issues there.

Tom has some good advice.  You should reboot your home/office network, 
every few months.  When I worked in a computer center of a large 
business, Once a week we had to reboot the servers and once a month the 
routers and other network hardware.
