Well, it's the only way I know of to include a postage stamp directly in the
document. The extension contacts the post service's web service to generate a
dummy barcode with or without sender and recipient addresses for inclusion in
the document. On print you can keep that dummy barcode or buy the real thing
so the printout will include a valid paid postage stamp. Just put it in a
windowed envelope and its ready for dispatch. Saves going to the website
manually and printing out an extra sheet or sticker with the stamp.
Kind regards,
Malte

Hi :)
Is it really worth keeping the Extenion/Add-on? I'd be really tempted
to uninstall it and find some other way to do whatever it does.
Regards from
Tom :)

Hello Dries,
thanks for the pointer. In fact German Post's online stamping extension
is
causing it. Not being a Java guy I'll now have to try and distill the
below link (that I found before but didn't see how to make use of it)
into some way to set the log file path for that extension - if there is
such a way without access to the source.
Kind regards,
Malte
