It does: if your original format, say, is DD/MM/YY, then that is how
the axis values will appear. It keeps the format, not the values.
Well, that seems silly to me, to preserve only the format. At least give
an option to preserve the values makes more sense to me.
I tried the "X-Y Scatter" chart type; it still didn't give me what I
wanted, and I don't like the "graph" line.
You can have X-Y Scatter without the line if you prefer.
That doesn't sound to useful.
