Opensuse makes changes in LibreOffice before putting it in
their repositories. That could be the problem. Then again, you
should have a mysql connector in the repositories that work
with the Opensuse's version of LO.
Now my testing environment is a vanilla install of opensuse 13.2
RC1 with latest LO.
That is version 4.3.2.1 at this time.
It is kind of weird that some of my forms (made with LO 4.1) are
unusable, because some textfields are shown as numerical values
(mostly "0").
The table views are almost correct, anyhow - better than
yesterday at home...
Seemingly a problem with factory-version 4.3.2.2, see
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=84315
I will do further tests with mariadb at home...
No problem with mariadb thus far with the shipped mysql connector (Version
1.0.2) and Dans version 1.0.4.
Which tasks should be tested reasonably concerning this driver update?
BTW I cannot create reports with the spoken LO-versions.
(Error: Can not activate the factory for
org.libreoffice.report.pentaho.SOReportJobFactory$_SOReportJobFactory
because java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class
org.libreoffice.report.pentaho.SOReportJobFactory$_SOReportJobFactory)
Again another problem... :(
