Yes, opensuse-factory with current LO

Opensuse makes changes in LibreOffice before putting it in their repositories. That could be the problem. Then again, you should have a mysql connector in the repositories that work with the Opensuse's version of LO. (My OS is Ubuntu, and my repositories list two mysql connectors for their version of LO with one of them being based upon python.)
