Hi :)
Is it possible to post a bug-report to Google. It sounds like they have
really stuffed things up. Also post the same question to their forums as
they probably have (or will have) the same question appearing many times
until they fix it.

In the meantime is it possible to download those gdocs in the older MS
formats? Doc rather than DocX (or Odt) and Xls instead of XlsX? Do those
work any better? How about trying their DocX filters. I only mean doing 1
or 2 just to see how it goes.

Apols and regards from
Tom :)

Downloading a gdoc document from google drive you will prompted to
choose a conversion.

Choosing 'open document' i get an odt but i spotted an error in
giving 'outline numbering = 10' to even headling styled with headline 1
and superfluous xml in links.

I tried to find a way to fix the wrong oultine numbering but noluck.

I noticed that in the converted odf file 'oultline levels' 1-6 dont
correspont to a heading style instead the relate to nothing.

By completing the missing associations in 'tools --> outline numbering'
new headings will get the proper ouline level but old ones wont
change to correct one leaving only one solution : to delete them and
write them back.

But since i have many converted docs that could be tedious.

Is there another way to correct existing headings or maybe the
converted doc is messed up and a new one from withing libreoffice
should be created, possibly by copy paste to a new empty doc?

I paste some difs among a test odt , and the converted odt from a
test gdoc i created

<text:p text:style-name="P1">This <text:a xlink:type="simple"
xlink:href="";>is a link
dude</text:a></text:p><text:p text:style-name="P1"/>

and the same link in the converted odt :

<text:p text:style-name="P3"><text:span
text:style-name="T3_3"><text:a xlink:type="simple"
text:style-name="T3_5"><text:a xlink:type="simple"
text:style-name="T3_7"><text:a xlink:type="simple"
text:style-name="T3_9"><text:a xlink:type="simple"

text:style-name="T3_11"><text:a xlink:type="simple"

and the heading with the wrong outline:

<text:h text:style-name="P1"
