Hi :)
Pretty much all this tech was available back when MS's "spooky foresight"
predicted this.  ZX81's had a plug-in device to control motors on multiple
devices such as thermostat controls, stepper-motors for opening/closing
curtains etc, etc.

Also a lot of what was predicted has since been severely frowned-on as
being overly intrusive when google introduced it to the mainstream.

MS 'predicted' it but still hasn't been able to implement it. :)
