As you've noticed, with the "rd" superscript, any text added takes on
that format. If you want to keep the "rd" in superscript, but change
the following text back to normal, select the text to change and go to:
Format > Character > Font Position
Set it to Normal position.
To stop it superscripting the "rd" in the first place:
Tools > AutoCorrect Options > Localised Options
Un-tick "Format ordinal numbers suffixes (1st -> 1^st)"
Hope that helps.
Mark.
Thanks for the help. This sounds like a feature request, similiar to
copying of the superscript in a Calc column, and entering a space to
cancel it. I'll turn it off for now.
Thanks,
John
