Hi :)
Sorry, someone pointed out that
"ToC links are rarely if ever a problem. Missing x-refs and missing figures are much more likely to
occur."

I kinda assumed people would read the email i was forwarding to the list and not take too much
notice of my own note but i should have beena  lot more clear about that.  Jean's email (3rd one
down now) is the important one.
Apols and regards from
Tom :)

Hi :)
The "Getting Started Guide" is ready as a full book but it would be a huge help if people could
download the Pdf of it from
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/Publications
and check it looks fine.  Perhaps check a few of the Table-of-Contents links and other links
(probably all those do work tbh).  Maybe other links.  Just generally have a really quick look
through to see if you spot any "deliberate mistakes" due to making the guide into a Pdf.

Many thanks in advance if anyone does manage to have a look through
Regards from
Tom :)

Would appreciate someone (or several people) doing a quick check of
the PDF for oddities, which often creep in any time I regenerate the
PDF. Look for the usual: missing figures, missing x-refs, really bad
page breaks, etc.
 Thanks.

ODT & PDF of Getting Started v4.0 full book are now available on LO
wiki and ODFAuthors. I'll put the links on the website ASAP (or
someone else with write access can do it). Printed copy will take a
few more days to organise.
