Subject: [libreoffice-users] LO 4.0.0.3: Calc Crashes when setting data
validity
I have a spreadsheet to record financial transactions, and to save typing,
I maintain a list of common transactions which can be selected in certain
cells by a drop down box. I populate the list from a cell range in another
sheet.
When I add new transactions to the list, and try to redefine the Cell
Range, Calc crashes. On re-opening, I find that it has saved the changes I
made, but I can't stop the crashes.
Any ideas?

At the bottom of your list enter some text to use a place holder. e.g
'-------
When you need to add a new entry, select the dummy entry and insert a
cell to shift the list down. This will keep LO from crashing.
