yikes ;-)
A couple of suggestions - which work for me ;-)
#1 - if you need a slide-show, then IrfanView [or XnView] are
programs which have been improving;
IrfanView makes slide-shows as OO/LO & MsFt once did - with all
the 'bells & whistles' ...
#2 - if you wish to make a movie-video, then VideoPad Video Editor
will work for you ...
Each of these are free for the individual user; #2 has a pro-version
which allows saving in various formats [reason ??? ]
also each can be found at the Gizmo's site -
http://www.techsupportalert.com/ with recommendations, how-tos, ... ... ...

Hi,
I installed 4.0.0 and loaded my main ODP file I need to teach my course,
ran
the slide show, and as always, the developers managed to screw up Impress
again in 4.0.0. With EVERY release, things that worked fine get FUBAR. What
is it this time?
- In bulleted lists, where each bulleted item is animated to appear on a
button being pressed, the sequence is out of order, e.g. item #4 would
appear before #2 and so on.
- In a multi-line text box that is animated to appear as a whole on a
button
being pressed, the last line already appears on the screen when the slide
is
shown, i.e. before any other interaction. I wouldn't even know how to
achieve such an effect myself!
- Instead of graphics that have been on slides for years suddenly only an
"OLE" placeholder icon appears.
And yes, all these slides displayed perfectly fine in the last version of
LO
I used.
Honestly, how does this happen? If nobody is working on Impress to even
check these absolutely basic things, be honest enough about it and drop it
from LO. But constantly, with every release, breaking things that worked
fine is plain ridiculous.
I don't mind minor bugs, but showstoppers like this are unreal.
