In my Writer, I see four tabs (Documents, Spreadsheets, Presentations
and Drawings), and under Documents there are two widgets - one marked
"My Templates" and one marked MediaWiki.
Go into "My Templates" and select the template you would like to use as
default. After you select it, there will be a tab up top that says "set as
default".
