How do you do this exactly?  The "Bug" heading on the home page goes to a page to submit a bug
report.  You have to log in before you can do anything.  You can't search for bugs.  There is no
way to search for bugs from the home page.  The "Get Help" page doesn't have an option to do this
either.

I had to make an account to get into the bug reporting system. How many
people do you want to do that and then search for answers?

You don't need an account to search for bugs and read reports. You only need
it to change status of bugs and post comments.
