hi. using base... is there a way to open masks without borders or

I an not sure I understand what you mean. The only thing in
Base that has a mask that I know is a pattern field. It has two of
them: an edit mask and a literal mask. The properties for this field
are listed in the Control tool when the pattern field is highlighted.
Are you talking about a field in a form? Is it a pattern field?
Do you want to make the mask in the pattern field smaller but not
the pattern field? If this is true, what you really want to do is to
change the size of the font for this field. Click the field while
holding down the Control button. This highlights the field but not
its label. Then right click the field and select Control from the
pop up window. Scroll down through the properties until you find the
Font property. Click the ellipse (...) for the Font property to open
the Character dialog. Reduce the size of the text, and click OK.
If this is not what you want, will you please be more specific
about what you have and what you want to do.

sorry, wrong translation... I meant formulary, form, questionnaire,
the third voice from up on the left in the 'database' menu. if there
is a way to open an object without window border / controls, just the
object. trying resizing.
OK, you mean form. No, you can not open an object of Base (Table,
Query, Form, or Report) without a window border. Your operating system
(probably a version of Windows) places the window border around the
object you open.
Have you checked to see of there is a mailing list like this one
for your native language. Then you should be able to get the
information you need in your language.

yes, no. thank you for your answer. I am using linux ubuntu. there are
a couple of features of ms access... one is the possibilities to define
borders and scrollbars in the object properties (though it is not an
important feature, just useful to simplify). yes, i also use italian
mailing list, but there was no talking about at the moment. ok.
