Hi :)
What format? If you are using MS formats then LO ignores the password protection but MSO users
will be required to enter a password. I'm not sure what happens in MSO if you try to password
protect an Odt file.
Regards from
Tom :)

Subject: [libreoffice-users] document protection not working
I've got a Calc document that I've had for years with password
protection on it. Suddenly the protection has stopped working--the
document opens without any prompting for password. I went into
File/Properties and reset protection. But it's still opening without
password. When I go back to Properties/Security, the "unprotect" button
shows.
What can have happened?
Thanks.
EB
