Hi :) I thought most of the Wizards had removed their dependance on Java? It might be worth trying 2 different approaches. 1. Switch off java in LO Tools - Options - Java and untick the top tick-box. If you do something that needs java a pop-up box will grumble at you and allow you to re-enable java and re-try whatever it was that needed java. 2. Try an older version of java. you can have more than 1 version of java installed at a time and the LO options allow you to choose which version you use for LO. Tools - Options - Java and tick the older version of Java rather than the newest one. I've just recently heard that saving in non-native formats 'often' causes crashes but i've never had that problem in years of using LO/Go-OO/OOo. I've only fairly recently started keeping all documents in ODF format instead of MS ones and that is more to encourage other people in my office to use LO. When i need to share with people outside the office that is when i save to MS format. Regards from Tom :)

You never know what adventures lay ahead if you tangle with them. Exactly the same version on my computer does all the wizards. As I never use them I made a test. No problem. I am no very curious about the cause of your problem On 12/15/2012 3:20 PM, Thomas Blasejewicz wrote:Goodafternoon (2012/11/21 17:30), Thomas Blasejewicz wrote:Windows XP Pro I just installed the very latest version of LO ( 3.6.4.3 (Build ID: 2ef5aff)) and noticed, that LO crashes EVERY time I try to use File -> Wizard -> "whatever" (means ANY function under Wizard) This happens ONLY on my office computer WHAT am I supposed to be looking for / changing? Thank you.Today, I uninstalled LO, deleted old LO folders, restarted the computer and installed the newest version (3.6.4.3 (Build ID: 2ef5aff). Java is set and running, The ext. (you know what) thing should cause no problem, since the same functions are installed in my home computer and there DO NOT cause any trouble. Still, LO crashes 100% when using ANY of the wizard functions. Is there anything else I can try?
