I was going to suggest using the File->Save As... (In Chrome, it's right-click->Save As...). I've always found this just copies the entire HTML page to a file.

Try pasting with Ctrl+Shift+V, selecting "Unformatted Text".

I tried this. It did not work. I was given no options. No pasting.

I pasted the text into Write and into a text editor (Kate on Linux)
without any problems. I am using LO 3.6.3 on Linux Mint 13

I am now at the point where the data is copied into Write and kate. How
ever I do not have the 2 columns. How can I format this?

Gary

Thanks everybody for your help. I was able to get the 2 columns to work. However I am stuck in the columns and can not get out to start another paragraph. This is too frustrating for an old man. I quit.

Thanks again.

Jay

When I copy and paste into libreoffice the data in the columns is in
rectangular boxes that I can not do anything with. How can I put
this in
text format?
Thanks, Gary
