many friends using MS Office. Recently a guy sent me a doc created on a Mac.
It is impossible to open it . LO opens a small window (ASCII filter options)
and converts the doc to a unreadable scribble.
We would need to know the application on the Mac and its version number
used to produce this document. There are/were known bugs in both OOo,
and now presumably AOO/LO with "DOC" files produced by some Mac
applications, most notably due to codepage issues.
