Hi :)
If either of you have time then either of these 2 links can help you do a quick search to see if
there is an existing bug-report.
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport
https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/bug/
If there isn't one it would be great if you can continue following either of those guides to
post a new bug-report.
Regards from
Tom :)

Thanks Tom - there is indeed a bug reported for this,
https://www.libreoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=45081

Reading the comments suggests that it is fixed in 3.5.4. I'm off to
download that now and find out.

And yes - 3.5.4.2 has fixed the problem. I can now play videos again.
Good news - I need it for tomorrow morning!

I have the same problem.
I use LibreOffice together with PortableApps.
I also use Windows 7 64-bit. I haven't tested it yet on another Windows
version.

My solution was to go back to OpenOffice 3.3.
This solved my problem (at least for the time being).

Yep me too.

Does anyone know if this has been raised as a bug?

Nick

I'm using LO 3.5.3.2  under Windows 7 64bit.

I recently found that trying to trying to run a presentation
containing a video file in .avi format causes a crash.

Can anyone reproduce this? Or suggest a cure?

Thanks,

Nick
