Readers,
Unfortunately, it is required to change from LO33 to LO35 to use a
particular new feature.
Where is the report within QA that shows LO35 passed standard quality tests?
It's hard to believe that this version has only 6 bugs! (See:
https://www.libreoffice.org/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?bug_severity=blocker&bug_severity=critical&bug_severity=major&op_sys=Linux%20%28All%29&query_format=advanced&rep_platform=x86%20%28IA32%29&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&version=LibO%203.5%20Daily&version=LibO%203.5.2%20RC1&version=LibO%203.5.2%20Release&version=LibO%203.5.3%20RC1&version=LibO%203.5.3%20release&version=LibO%203.5.4%20RC1&product=LibreOffice)
Is this true, that LO353 is near perfect?
Sure when you narrow your search as you did:
Severity: blocker, critical, major[1]
OS: Linux (All)
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
Status: NEW, ASSIGNED, REOPENED
Version: LibO 3.5 Daily, LibO 3.5.2 RC1, LibO 3.5.2 Release, LibO
3.5.3 RC1, LibO 3.5.3 release, LibO 3.5.4 RC1
Product: LibreOffice
Try your search again using the same versions[1], but all OS & hardware,
and Severity not set to blocker, critical, major:
Status: NEW, ASSIGNED, REOPENED
Version: LibO 3.5 Daily, LibO 3.5.2 RC1, LibO 3.5.2 Release, LibO
3.5.3 RC1, LibO 3.5.3 release, LibO 3.5.4 RC1, LibO 3.5.4 RC2
Product: LibreOffice
<https://www.libreoffice.org/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?order=Importance&query_format=advanced&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&version=LibO%203.5%20Daily&version=LibO%203.5.2%20RC1&version=LibO%203.5.2%20Release&version=LibO%203.5.3%20RC1&version=LibO%203.5.3%20release&version=LibO%203.5.4%20RC1&version=LibO%203.5.4%20RC2&product=LibreOffice>
(157 bugs found.)
And seeing as how you wish to focus on linux, again using the versions,
but include all OS and hardware and Severity not set to blocker,
critical, major:
OS: Linux (All)
Status: NEW, ASSIGNED, REOPENED
Version: LibO 3.5 Daily, LibO 3.5.2 RC1, LibO 3.5.2 Release, LibO
3.5.3 RC1, LibO 3.5.3 release, LibO 3.5.4 RC1, LibO 3.5.4 RC2
Product: LibreOffice
<https://www.libreoffice.org/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?order=Importance&op_sys=Linux%20%28All%29&query_format=advanced&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&version=LibO%203.5%20Daily&version=LibO%203.5.2%20RC1&version=LibO%203.5.2%20Release&version=LibO%203.5.3%20RC1&version=LibO%203.5.3%20release&version=LibO%203.5.4%20RC1&version=LibO%203.5.4%20RC2&product=LibreOffice>
(38 bugs found. )
[1] You've elected to search on:
Severity: blocker, critical, major
Hardware: x86 (IA32)
So, sure you are likely to only get a few bug results. Doing the same
(limiting to blocker, critical, major and x86) using 'All' results in 13
bugs found.
[2] In addition to 3.5.3, you also included Daily, 3.5.2, and 3.5.4 RC1.
If you are going to include 3.5.4 RC's, then you should include LibO
3.5.4 RC2.
