Did you ever manage to find an answer for this or is it still a problem?  Sorry you have not had

1. create an empty presentation and edit the slide master
2. edit the height of the main AutoLayout text box (the one that usually contains the main content)
3. Make sure that the text box is not set to auto size, either under "text..." or under "size and

Now if I choose a layout that displays this AutLayout area, the height of it is set to whatever I 
made it be and all is fine. Here's the problem. I now save this document and close it. When I open 
it again the AutoLayout is still the same as before I closed it, but if I change the layout the 
height of the AutoLayout goes back to what it was before I changed it in the master. If I now open 
the master view I see that indeed the master has also changed.

I can change the slide master again and repeat the whole process but nothing fixes this. I've tried 
locking the size and position of the text box but that is ignored. I've flipped all sorts of 
checkboxes but haven't found a solution yet.

All this is happening in LO 3.5.0 rc3 but also happened in the 3.4.5 version. I haven't tried older 
versions. Running win7 64-bit.

Anyone else see this happen, and if so is there a fix (I'm assuming it's a feature and not a bug).
