Hi :)
Brilliant!  Nicely found!  There seems to be a number of different sets of circumstances that
results in pictures vanishing or "being unavailable".  Sadly there is a long running bug-report
that seems to mix them all up as a single report which makes it difficult to isolate a specific
combination of circumstances that causes the problem.  Andrew Pitonyak seems to have isolated 2
very different causes already, this being the 2nd one.

In the Documentation Team people have learned to keep a separate zip file with all their pictures
in it.  To be honest it's all such a rare event that it hasn't been thought worth working on.
Pictures almost never disappear so when it does happen people have usually thought it was some
clumsiness on their part and then been very surprised to find there is a bug-report about it.

Hopefully the code clean-up will help isolate all the causes to make them easy to fix or just
magically fix them as the code streamlines.  Apparently it's been around since someting like
OpenOffice 1.2 or 2.1 or something.  Had anyone really noticed it?
Regards from
Tom :)
