Hi :)
OpenOffice is usually a 'previous version' of LibreOffice as they both come
from the same code-base. The Apache Foundation are working on a newer
version of OpenOffice but i think so far there are no versions of OpenOffice
that are newer than the first release of LibreOffice. I could easily be
wrong.

It's not about being a previous release though. It's about being another
version of what is essentially the same program. If you want to run more
than 1 version of OpenOffice and/or LibreOffice there is a guide to help.
Regards from
Tom :)
