[libreoffice-users] LibreOffice 3.5 not recognising java runtime

I was running LO3.4 on Kubuntu 11.10 and have just removed it and installed LO3.5 During the install a message appeared saying something to the effect that no jre was found. Looking at Tools>options there is no jre to pick from and if I choose add and enter /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk/jre I am told the folder contains no java runtime.
